Lundeborg Harbour
Lundeborg - an old fishing habour
The fishing harbour and marina in Lundeborg in the Storebælt region is an old, cosy fishing harbour that is owned and run by the local fishermen themselves. Visiting sailors are welcome to call at this port and stay overnight. Lundeborg is surrounded by a beautiful, lush natural landscape, with meadows, woods and fields aplenty. Many Danes know Lundeborg through the songs of singer Ove Bager: ‘Are you blue and full of worries, come down with me to Lundeborg, ‘cause that’s the best place in the world…’
You have to experience the summer atmosphere at Lundeborg Harbour for yourself, when festivities, music events and joyful days are spent here during the summer months. Check out the event calendar here! The harbour has a long pier for schooners and other large vessels.
The natural surroundings offer a wide array of cycling and hiking paths through the beautiful landscape beyond the city along the coast, as well as a nice bathing beach north of the harbour. During spring 2014, a great new viking-style playground was constructed for children, complete with slide, ball field, and seesaw. A hit with residents and visitors.
On the harbour premises you will find a convenience store, a kiosk, and restaurants, as well as a fuel station for petrol and diesel.
A payment machine has been set up for guest sailors, baths, etc. in the laundry located in the toilet building in the middle of the harbor.
Space for motorhomes at the southern end of the harbor immediately facing the water. Payment in vending machine.
