Endelave Harbour
The sunshine island of Endelave in the middle of Kattegat
Endelave is an enticing destination for sailors with a fondness for small, intimate harbours. It used to offer only a limited amount of spots, but the harbour has extended its facilities and now has a new basin with room for 100 sailors.
The island has a lot to offer: Varying nature, a town for shopping, a pub with a guesthouse, a post office, a library and a bakery. Take a stroll in this exceptionally beautiful village with its old-time charm, and enjoy the beauty of the timber framed yards and houses. You could even go on one of the attractive hiking routes, the longest being 13km – get a map at the harbour master’s office or get more information here. If the distance is too long for your taste, you can also rent a bike.
The island is widely known for its wild rabbits that you can see around, particularly in the evenings and at sundown.
