Stege Harbour
Welcome to Stege Harbour
When you arrive at Stege Harbour, you sail almost right in the middle of the old king town of Stege.
The marina has several harbour sections and at the same time the harbor stretches along the city, where it is also possible to moor longships. You can look forward to an active port environment and a very active market town, where many events are held. Explore the beautiful city, which is also rich in specialty shops and cafe life.
In July, there is a Tuesday market in Stege. The city is transformed into one large shopping center with lots of cosiness, entertainment and good offers. Also, do not miss the famous "Herring Market", which takes place every year in September. The town which is located right by the harbour offers a lot of specialty shops with Møn specialties, including Møn sweets and Møn ice cream.
Stege is also home to the historic motor ferry MØN which sails to Kalvehave, and is frequently used by cyclists during the summer period. If you want to see more, a trip with the mail boat Røret to Nyord can be recommended. Read about Nyord here.
Møn has been named a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and has raised several awards for their Dark Sky initiative, where you can experience tens of thousands of stars in the clear night sky.
Once you have explored Stege, you can visit one of our other market towns in Præstø and Vordingborg.
