Sønderborg Marina
Sønderborg Marina is located in one of Denmark's most attractive sailing areas. The harbour at Alssund is part of a recreational area with Blue Flag beaches and green beech forests for the enjoyment of guests at the harbour. The marina is visited by approximately 14,000 guests each year, and no one sails in vain – there is room for everyone here. You will find every conceivable facility at this large, modern marina, including diesel and petrol sales. At the same time, you can moor your boat in peaceful and idyllic surroundings, sheltered from the westerly wind.
The harbour is home to Café MARINA, which serves dishes for all hungry stomachs and offers a takeaway service. Alternatively, you can settle down for dinner at one of the many barbecue areas. Among other things, there is a barbecue area by the playground in the shade of the surrounding trees.
Sønderborg Marina is the largest on Als and is located in the town's backyard. If you want to visit the town with its many shopping opportunities and experiences, you can stroll along the beach promenade in just 15 minutes. Visit the historic Sønderborg Castle and take a trip to Dybbøl Mill, which tells the story of the border region.
Please note: Food and beverages, bake-off items, provisions, etc. can be purchased at Café MARINA, located just 100 metres from the harbour office. A new boat equipment shop will open in the summer of 2026 as a self-service store.
Sønderborg Yacht Club and Sønderborg Sailing and Motorboat Club are based at the harbour and contribute to many activities each year.
