If you want to visit the harbour of Gråsten in Nybøl Nor near Flensburg Fjord, the sea goes under the Egernsund Bridge. The bridge opens once an hour. The harbour is small, but it is centrally located near the city center. Therefore, shopping, cafes and restaurants are not far away. The waterfront is modern and characterized by luxurious housing in quiet surroundings. The harbour itself has the most needed facilities and bicycles can be rented for shopping and tours in the area.

Gråsten is best known for Gråsten Castle, which is the summer residence of the royal family. The castle garden and the castle church are open to the public and are worth a visit with its beautiful location. If you want to get some exercise, the beautiful hike along the Gråsten path can be recommended. The route is 9 km long and goes through the city, along the harbour and into the forest behind the castle.
There are good train connections to Gråsten and therefor it is an easy place to change crew.
